This is an adaptation on the *octoWS2811* pixel led board available from [
PJRC.com](
https://www.pjrc.com). Originally deemed the DuotrigesimalWS2811, the Teensy Pixel Pusher was designed for the Teensy4.1, this board has 32 outputs for the led strands and an Ethernet connection that accesses the built in Ethernet on the Teensy 4.1 chip.
I designed and built this board to take advantage of the computing power of the teensy 4.1 as well as the on board Ethernet for E1.31 pixel control. The mounting holes are designed to fit cable guard enclosures. Example code to run the board is available from [GitHub](
https://github.com/brianamos1/DTG_E.131). This is an open source project, the board files and parts list is also available on [GitHub](
https://github.com/brianamos1/DuotrigesimalWS2811).
This is an improvement on the octoWS2811 in the number of outputs available, and the availability of the onboard ethernet. This is the board only, and does not include the Teensy 4.1, that can be purchased elsewhere.
The Version 3.1 improves upon previous versions by allowing a direct 5v connection to power the Teensy, as well as providing pinouts for 3.3v, 5v, Ground, and Pins 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 29, 33, 40, and 41. The silkscreen has also been improved. All other functionality of the original Teensy Pixel Pusher remains in tact.
At this time this is available as a board only, that you can add your Teensy 4.1, and peripherals to, as well as a completely built board. If there is enough interest a kit will be put together in the future. Please message me if you would like a kit.
The splitter and power injector board is designed to interface with this board.
This board is designed to accept the 4-port Adam Tech MTJF-4-88GX1-FSB RJ45 sockets for the data out. The ethernet adapter is a WIZnet J1B1211CCD RJ45 jack with magnetics.
